Meadowbank Park Outdoor Youth and Family Recreation Space Official Opening
There will be competitions running throughout the afternoon and appearances by professional skaters. It’s a must attend for families and skateboard enthusiasts across the local area, and registrations open at 12.00pm on the day.
Skateboarders, scooter users and BMX riders will be able to test their skills on the new grind rails and boxes, banks and three quarter pipe ramps.
Enjoy tasty tacos, nachos and chips from Gringos Mexican Cantina and listen to the live DJ.
The facility features a deep bowl and street obstacles set to challenge both advanced and intermediate users, plus there are plenty of family friendly spaces, covered shelters and seating.

Description:
The Tech Savvy Seniors program assists seniors who have limited or no previous experience in using technology to learn new skills for the future.
The training is free and will help older people to access information and stay connected with their family, friends and communities.
This program consists of eight weekly sessions presented in Mandarin held on Tuesdays from 9.30am to 11.30am.
When booking into this program you commit to attending all eight of the following sessions:
- Tuesday 30 April – Introduction to the Internet (part 1)
- Tuesday 7 May – Introduction to the Internet (part 2)
- Tuesday 14 May – Introduction to email
- Tuesday 21 May – Introduction to iPads/tablets
- Tuesday 28 May – Introduction to social media
- Tuesday 4 June – Introduction to smartphones
- Tuesday 11 June – Introduction to cyber safety
- Tuesday 18 June – Introduction to online banking
Limited places. Bookings are essential.
By booking into this program you confirm your attendance at all eight sessions on Tuesdays 30 April, 7, 14, 21, 28 May, and 4, 11 and 18 June.

Huge indoor plant warehouse sale
We’re combining 2 great loves: Chocolate and plants!
We’ll hold an Easter Egg hunt among the plants for the VIP guests on Saturday from 8am.
We’ll also have all your indoor plant favourites including as many rare plants as we can source for you.
Dress up: $5 off if you wear Easter bunny ears! Minimum spend $10 and not valid with any other offer.
We have tickets to help manage the flow on the day and bring the right amount of plants. Tickets will launch on Monday 22 April at 12 noon. Kids under 12 don’t require a ticket.
Premium rare plants will have a limit of 1 per customer. We do this to help ensure that rare plants are shared among more people!

We’ll have a limited number of boxes. You may want to bring your own to be on the safe side.
Parking is limited. We ask guests use street parking and collect plants from our pick-up area.
