Freedom Wheels Bike Assessment
TAD is a not-for-profit organisation and NDIS provider.
We work with retired skilled engineers to create custom equipment.
TAD’s Freedom Wheels bike program enables people with a disability to ride a bike for the first time.
This is a tailored built bike to suit the individual’s height, weight and cognitive or physical disability.
TAD’s registered Occupational Therapist is visiting Ryde Royal Rehab on Wednesday the 28th of March.
She will be holding free, no-obligation bike assessments for anyone who would like to try out riding, whom the standard commercial bikes are not suitable.

You’re the Driver workshop – Blacktown

Tuesday, 19 March 2019 | 06:30 PM to 08:30 PM
You’re the Driver is a 2 session course over two weeks for all drivers from L platers to 90 year olds. We cover the basics such as “Three plus T” intersection rules, discuss learning to “read” the road ahead and learn about the signs and road markings on the road. We also look at different types of intersections such as roundabouts and traffic light-controlled intersections and the rules for these intersections. We look at reducing your chances of being involved in a crash and minimising your injuries if a crash occurs. Finally we explain the rules covering different parking signs and practice on some examples of complex parking signs to minimise our risk of getting a parking fine.
You can attend the day sessions on Friday 22 and 29 March from 9.30-11.30am or you can attend the evening sessions on Tuesday 19 and 26 March from 6.30-8.30pm.

The works also highlight the expressive potential for both traditional and modern printmaking methods, including etching, woodcut, lithography and silkscreen, as well as modern technological processes of photopolymer etching and digital printing, monotypes, chine-collé, hand colouring and 3D objects.
